Large scale fruit production are dominated by multi generational families in the United States and around the world.  Site location and multi year planning are the keys and require a hands on, pass down mantality to succeed.  The backyard grower can do well for short term plantings and orchards; do not be discouraged!  In the long term many factors will determin success.
