Disease Control
Disease Control
There are many practices used to control disease and insect pests. The most beneficial step is to prune hard to gain good light penetration and air flow through the tree or plant. Cleaning up dibre and other diseased plant tissue will also greatly elminate the incidence of disease within your home fruit orchard.
Everyone wants to grow organic produce. This is always the desire of even the commercial fruit grower. All I will say about organic production is you get what you get there are no second chances and some crops will fail.
As a last resort a good Spray plan is needed to follow up all other practices. This is not necessary but most chemicals must be used before the disease strikes. So I encourage you to make up your mind now if you will be using chemicals. Follow this help provided by The Ohio State University.
